Adult Programming

Adult Religious Education. For several years now our congregation has committed itself to being a "learning congregation"—that is, we want to find many ways that people here can learn about UUism, about social justice issues, about our theological foundations, about ways we can be better citizens, congregants, parents, elders, and even administrators.

Our spirits are expanded and energized when we engage with the "other" in meaningful reflection about our lives and their meaning.  One way we do this is through our small group ministry, the Chalice Circles.  Another way is during learning opportunities offered throughout the year by the ministers, congregation members, and invited consultants.  Conversations held in these smaller groups offer opportunities for insight, compassion and respect for the life of our members and friends in this faith community.

“Learning/Teaching” Congregation.  We have committed ourselves to be a "teaching congregation" where we teach candidates for UU ministry (in our internship programs), and teach others who wish to learn how we do things here.
