Every Sunday, during the worship service, members and friends of Shoreline UU are invited to share their joys and sorrows. We share our joys, so that we may celebrate with each other. We share our sorrows to support each other through challenging times. Submit Articles
Leaders (committee chairs, elected leaders, staff, etc.) of Shoreline UU may submit event invitations and articles to the monthly and weekly publications and/or for Sunday morning below (click buttons). Articles may be edited for clarity and brevity. Please proofread your submissions and edit for clarity. Please refrain from using acronyms or other abbreviations, and include full names and Shoreline UU connection, leadership role, or title. When writing and submitting your invitations, announcements, and articles, please take into account that there are a diversity of readers and in attendance Sunday morning.
Soundings (monthly) newsletter articles are due no later than noon on the 20th of each month.
Weekly Connections articles are due no later than Tuesday at 11:00am.
Pulpit Invitations to congregational events and activities and announcements are due no later than 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
Please remember that less is more in spoken invitations and announcements. The most important items to include are what, when, and where to learn more. Limit details, such as specific times, email addresses, physical addresses, and phone numbers. |
