Affiliated Community Ministers
Shoreline UU Church is proud to be affiliated with two ordained Unitarian Universalist ministers whose primary ministry is to the larger community beyond the friends and members of our congregation. They are expected to preach at least once per year for Shoreline UU and offer other services from time to time. In return, we keep them connected to congregational life, and thus to the Unitarian Universalist Association.

Reverend Barbara Cornell (she/her), as a chaplain, is the Lead Coordinator of the Bereavement Program and the Mental Health and Recovery Ministry Team at Swedish Edmonds Hospital. She has been affiliated with Shoreline UU since 2016 and has been an active part of our congregation for over three decades. She and her husband are involved with the life of this congregation.

Reverend April Frazier (she/her) is an Affiliated Community Minister at Shoreline UU. She has been a chaplain for 14 years, with the majority of that time in home hospice. She received her M.Div. at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. She finds joy in nature, creative projects and spending time with her family.
